About Us
THE FRESNO CHAPTER OF WALLEYES UNLIMITED IS A 501(C)(3) NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO CONSERVATION, IMPROVEMENT, AND EDUCATION CONCERNING LOCAL WARM WATER FISHERIES.
The Fresno Chapter of Montana Walleyes Unlimited sponsors various events with one of the biggest being a fishing tournament each June. The "Fresno Challenge" is the first stop of the year for the Walleyes Unlimited of Montana tournament circuit. Hundreds of fishermen from around the country participate in the two-day tournament.
A generous land donation by the H. Goggins Family made possible the construction of the pavilion and camping facility located above the main beach on the southeast corner of the lake. Built by the Fresno Chapter of Montana Walleyes Unlimited and the Railroad Pagers Association, the facilities are free and open to the public.
